Diwali celebrations was in full swing last week. The children explored mixing colours, creating diya lights, firework pictures and henna designs. This prompted the children to challenge their fine motor skills and learn about different cultures. Our lovely Priya cooked an amazing traditional Indian chicken curry. The children (and staff) thoroughly enjoyed this. If you would like to try cooking it yourself at home, I have attached the link below...

Last week we supported the amazing charity YoungMinds. The children joined in with lots of fun and yellow themed messy play in the Caterpillars room.
The Butterflies made a word of affirmation tree where children spoke about what they liked about themselves. Some quotes from the children were "Ada loves Ada" and "I love my hair".

On Saturday, some of our lovely staff members completed their up to date training in Paediactric first aid (along with the staff at our sister nursery Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery High Wycombe ).
